29 NOVEMEBER 06 - HAVE YOU VISITED US AT SUSTENANCE (OUR NEW CAFE) AND AT THE QUEEN VIC NIGHT MARKET, YET?

TODAY is Wednesday the 29th and the first day of the QUEEN VIC NIGHT MARKET. We shall see you there, of course?

AND, it is two weeks now that we have been serving delicious food at SUSTENANCE; finally, as so many of you have asked, a place, a cafe with CURRIES, ITALIAN ADDITIONS, GREAT COFFEE and more in Fitzroy at 296 Brunswick St, ph. 94191555.

Here we are at last. We have gone organic! ORGANIC! All our curries and muesli are now made from certified organic ingredients. We are also delivering small vacuumed packs, refridgerated, to selected outlets.

So whereever you are, at a shop that stocks our product or at the markets, you will be able to eat nourishing organic food. WE will also have organic rotis for our roti wraps.

We tried to do this some years ago but could not make it cost effective. So we are happy that we have reached whatever critical mass needed to happen between people wanting organic product and being able to pay the small increase in price, our ability to source raw ingredients, and organize delivery and pick up.

Curry Pack suggestions

While the curry is warming up, slice some avocado and douse in lemon juice and salt to taste, get some salad together and if you are having dairy, some sour cream. Put everything together and enjoy with some preservative-free corn chips.
